Goal

During the COVID‑19 pandemic, casual Twitch streams started as a way to pass time and stay connected with long-distance friends, with no clear growth or branding strategy in place. As viewership became more consistent and a small but loyal group of regulars emerged, the challenge shifted to understanding how to intentionally nurture that early community, encourage interaction between viewers, and turn a hobby stream into a more structured, sustainable space people wanted to come back to.

Result

I learned how to use OBS and various plugins to make the streams more interactive with features like effects on screen, chat games, and dynamic overlays. Streaming consistently helped me build a routine and keep viewers coming back. Outside of Twitch, I grew the community by creating a Discord server where regulars could hang out and connect anytime.
